Day 1,Arrive in Addis Ababa
Arrive in Addis Ababa, meet and greet at the Airport and transfer to your hotel. After checking in to accommodation you have a city tour of Addis Ababa which includes • To Entoto for Panoramic view and the St.Mary church found on top of the mountain for its best collection in its Museum • The National Museum, where Lucy is kept. • One of the largest open-air markets in Africa, known as the “Mercato"
Day 2,Drive to Bahirdar
Drive to Bahirdar, en route visit Debrelibanos monastery and the Blue Nile gorge
Day 3,Drive to the Blue Nile falls
Blue Nile falls (Tis Issat), about 45 minutes by road from Bahir dar followed by a 30 minute; walk from the road to the falls. Here, the Blue Nile starts its journey to the Mediterranean. These amazing waterfalls are 400 meters wide and more than 45 meters in height. Afternoon boat excursion on Lake Tana to visit the Lake monasteries of Ura Kidan Mehret and Zeghie Peninsula
Day 4,Drive to Gonder
Drive to Gonder and afternoon; visit the castles compound, Ruin palaces, Bath of King Fasiledes (1632-1667 G.C) and visit Debre Berhan Sellasie Church famous for its wall & ceiling paints of 18th Century
Day 05,Drive to Axum
Full day drive to Axum, short stop on the way
Day 06,Visit in Axum
Visit in Axum, St. Mary of Zion church which the Ark of the Covenant resides it brought by King Solomon and Queen of Sheba's son "Menelik" almost 3000 years ago and visit the museum, Obelisks and Stele, the Castle Ruins of King Kaleb and Queen of Sheba's Bath and Palace
Day 07,Drive to Mekelle
Drive to Mekelle, making short photo stops on your way. Full day cruise on the eastern edge of the Ethiopian highlands You meet the local people of Amhara & Tigay. Check in to your hotel then make a sightseeing tour of Mekelle for its Market, Museum and Monuments then Abreha Asebeha church.
Day 08,Drive to Lalibela
Drive to Lalibela.( set at 2,600 m. above sea level ) At the end of the 12th and beginning of the 13th centuries, King Lalibela of the Zaghwe dynasty built a series of rock hewn churches, rightly acknowledged as one of the wonders of the world
Day 09,Full day visit
Full day visit of the first & second group of eleven monolithic & semie monolithic of 12 century Churches that are classified in to two cluster (eastern & Western). After having your shower drive to a local restaurant that arrange as well authentic folkloric daces of the Amhara people so enjoy the dance after having your meal and drinks . This show creat an oportunity to see the coffee ceremony
Day 10,Drive to Kombolcha
Drive to Kombolcha famous among visitors for the colorful market of Bati on Monday & Senbete on Sunday, to experience the culture of the Oromo, Amhara and Afar peoples (highlanders and low landers)
Day 11,Drive to Awash National park
Drive to Awash National park, there are different kinds of birds life’s like secretary bird, bustards, vultures etc and animal life including Oryx, Gazelle’s kudu, water back in Awash national park. Awash waterfalls and the hot water spring are also some of the other attraction in Awash
Day 12,Visit the park
Early morning Visit the park for some animals & drive through the Awash valley and eastern escarpment of the rift valley to the old town of Harrar.
Day 13,Full day city tour of Harrar
You will have full day city tour of Harrar to visit, Muslim culture that dates back to the 7th century, Museums of Harrai house. The Walled town of Harrar has both the Christian and Muslim culture & Hyena man show at the evening
Day 14,Drive to DireDawa
Drive to DireDawa town & fly back to Addis Ababa
