Day 1,Addis Ababa to Mekelle

Day 2,To the Rift Valley

We continued to Lake Asale, to spend the night in a village on the shores of this lake - Ahmed Ela. Accommodation in tents under the stars or local PC beds.
Day 3,Camel cravanas- Dallol
From this village we went to visit the lake and the famous Asale camel cravanas salt and camel, which is the highlight of the trip. We visit the wonderful formations Dallol. We camped in Ahmed Ela. PC
Day 4,Erta-Ale
Drive south crossing the desert to the base of Erta Ale and camp there. Evening time ascend to Erta Ale volcano with camels Easy hike up to the volcano (ca. 3 hrs), accompanied by a camel caravan to carry equipment. Observe Erta Ale's lava lake and the caldera Accommodation Improvised camp on Erta Ale
Day 05,Descend from Erta Ale and drive back to Mekelle.
Day 06,We drive to Wekro
We drive to Wekro. The churces of Tigray region are excavated rock from the seventh to the fifteenth centuries. Some are older than those of Lalibela. Visit the rock churches of Tigray –Wekro Cherkos and Abreha Atsebeha and further drive to Gerhalta Mountains-and visit the famous rock churches of Tigray-Mariam Korkur. Overnight in hotel Wekro
Day 07,Departure to Gueralta
Departure to Gueralta and views on the way to the churches of the region, There are over 30 churches in this region. Visit the easier of access. A missed Wukro Chirkos or Abreha we Atsbeha, Night at the Lodge of Gheralta
Day 08,Departure to Axum
Breakfast and departure to Axum, Gheralta upcoming visits to churches, Stop on the way to visit the Solar Temple of Yeha.
Day 09,Full day in Axum
Full day in Axum, once one of the four great powers of the ancient world.
